An invisible video camera is integrated in the text. It is linked to a screen placed opposite the painting. The viewer is filmed while approaching and looking at the painting. The image is projected simultaneously on the screen. The viewer turns the back to the screen and cannot see him/herself.
A link is created between painting and video/ancestral and contemporary medium. They exist as a whole, but also individually as they cannot be seen at the same time.
A reflection on the interaction between mediums and the incontournable inspiration from the history of art, painting being one of the “art majeur”.
